ACA Forum 2025 Wraps Up in Bali: ASCC 2026 Planning, Plenary Talks, and Regional Workshop Spotlight

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025

We have just concluded the ACA Forum 2025, held on 2-5 July 2025 at Holiday Inn Baruna, Bali. The event gathered leading members of the Asian Control Association to strengthen collaboration and plan future initiatives.

A key agenda of the forum was the early preparation for the Asian Control Conference (ASCC) 2026, including strategic discussions on venue, committee structure, and program design.

The forum also featured a Plenary and Leader’s Talk session entitled “Future Technology in a Rapidly Changing World”, where ACA leaders presented their latest research progress and shared their visions for the future of control and automation in Asia.

In conjunction with the forum, the Workshop Series on Instrumentation, Control, and Automation for Future Indonesian Scientists and Engineers – Series 1: East Archipelago was held. The IEEE Control Systems Society supported this workshop through its Diversity, Outreach, and Development Activities (DODA) program. The initiative aims to inspire and engage the next generation of Indonesian scientists and engineers with cutting-edge control research and industry practices.

Documentation from the forum and workshop can be seen below.
