Submission Guideline

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

All paper submissions for ASCC 2026 must be made through the PaperCept website: https://controls.papercept.net. When preparing your manuscript, please follow the IEEE conference paper format and ensure that it is written in English.

All submitted materials must be originalunpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of their submissions. To prepare your manuscript, please use the ASCC 2026 IEEE paper template, available at : https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.

PAPER CATEGORIES

1. Regular Paper

Regular papers present original research results in control, automation, and related fields.

  • Page Limit : 6 pages, with up to 2 additional pages permitted subject to an extra page fee.
  • Submission : Papers must be submitted through the PaperCept conference management system under the Contributed Paper category.
  • Publication : Accepted papers will be included in the ASCC 2026 Conference Proceedings and submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

2. Position Paper

Position papers present new ideas, early-stage research results, or perspectives on emerging topics. These papers are shorter and focus on conceptual contributions or stimulating discussion.

  • Page limit : 2 pages (no additional pages permitted).
  • Submission : Papers must be submitted through the PaperCept conference management system under the Position Paper category.
  • Publication : Accepted position papers will be presented at ASCC 2026 and included in the ASCC 2026 Conference Proceedings. However, they will not be submitted for possible publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

3. Special Session Proposal & Paper

A special session is a collection of papers organized around a specific theme or topic of interest. Each session is proposed and coordinated by one or more organizers and must be approved by the ASCC 2026 Technical Program Committee.

Special Session papers must be submitted as part of an approved Special Session or Invited Session and should address the session theme while contributing to the overall discussion in that area. There are two types of special session papers :

3.1 Special Session Paper

  • Publication : Accepted papers must be presented at ASCC 2026 and will be included in the ASCC 2026 Conference Proceedings. They will also be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

3.2 Special Session Position Paper

  • Page Limit : 2 pages (no additional pages permitted).
  • Submission : Papers must be submitted through the PaperCept conference management system under the Invited Session Position Paper category.
  • Publication : Accepted papers must be presented at ASCC 2026 and will be included in the ASCC 2026 Conference Proceedings, but will not be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
