Travel Guide

We are pleased to welcome you to our conference in Bali. International participants may arrive through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, while domestic participants can reach Bali either by air or by sea via Ketapang-Gilimanuk ferry route.

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is the main gateway for conference participants. To reach Grand Hyatt Bali (Nusa Dua), several transportation options are available as follows:

  • Airport taxi — available at the official taxi counters in the arrival area. Passengers will receive a ticket with a fixed fare before boarding. Simply mention your destination (Grand Hyatt Bali, Nusa Dua) at the counter to get the correct fare.

  • Online transportation (Grab & Gojek Apps) — booked through mobile apps by selecting the designated pickup point indicated by Online Ride Pickup signs at the airport. The fare and arrival time of the driver will appear before confirming the booking.

  • Hotel shuttle / transfer — guests who have arranged transportation with Grand Hyatt Bali will be greeted by the hotel representative at the arrival area. Make sure to confirm your arrival schedule with the hotel in advance.

Gilimanuk Port

Gilimanuk Port is the primary entry point for visitors traveling to Bali by land and sea from Java Island. To reach Grand Hyatt Bali (Nusa Dua), several transportation options are available as follows:

  • Online transportation (Grab & Gojek Apps) — booked through mobile apps by selecting the designated pickup point indicated by Online Ride Pickup signs at the airport. The fare and arrival time of the driver will appear before confirming the booking.

  • Travel shuttle service — pre-booked minivans operated by private transportation companies that provide direct routes from Gilimanuk to Nusa Dua and other South Bali areas. This is a comfortable and convenient option, especially for group or family travelers.

  • Car rental — available at rental counters near Gilimanuk Port, with options for self-driving or hiring a driver. Renting a car with a driver is recommended for guests unfamiliar with long-distance routes in Bali.

BY SHUTTLE CAR and Bus from java

By using travel shuttle car and intercity bus services from Java Island, conference participants can reach Bali by land. Many long-distance travel companies operate routes from major cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, and Yogyakarta to Bali via Gilimanuk Port before continuing to Nusa Dua. Several transportation options are available as follows:

  • Intercity bus — departs from major terminals such as Kampung Rambutan (Jakarta), Leuwi Panjang (Bandung), and Giwangan (Yogyakarta) with direct routes to Bali. Upon arrival in Denpasar or Gilimanuk, participants may continue by taxi or online transportation to Grand Hyatt Bali.

  • Travel shuttle car service — private minivan operators offering door-to-door service from Jakarta, Bandung, and Yogyakarta to Bali. This option provides a more convenient and comfortable ride, especially for groups or families.

Private Or Rental Cars From Java

Private cars from Java Island are also convenient alternatives for participants who prefer to travel independently. Travelers can drive from major cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, and Yogyakarta across the island of Java, then take the Ketapang-Gilimanuk ferry crossing before continuing the journey to Grand Hyatt Bali (Nusa Dua).

  • Self-drive private car — suitable for travelers who prefer flexibility. The route follows the Trans-Java Toll Road to Banyuwangi, where drivers can transfer to the Ketapang Ferry Terminal and cross to Gilimanuk Port in Bali.

  • Private car with hired driver — a comfortable option for travelers who do not wish to drive long distances. Drivers and transportation services can be booked from Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and other regions in Java for door–to–door service to Bali.

  • Travel route advantage — the Trans-Java Toll Road offers smooth and continuous highway access from Jakarta to East Java, allowing a faster and safer journey before boarding the ferry to Bali.
