Session & Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation Guidelines

To ensure the smooth organization of the technical program, all presenters are requested to follow the guidelines below:

  • Each presentation is allocated 15 minutes, consisting of 12–13 minutes for the presentation and 2–3 minutes for questions and discussion.
  • Presenters are required to arrive at their assigned session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins.
  • Please introduce yourself to the Session Chair and verify that your presentation materials are ready.
  • Presenters may use their own laptop or a laptop provided by another presenter in the same session.
  • Please ensure that your device is equipped with a USB-C or HDMI interface for connection to the projector.
  • The recommended slide format is 16:9.
  • A student volunteer will be available in each room to provide technical assistance if needed.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

There are three poster sessions scheduled in the morning and afternoon of June 20. The authors of relevant paper should prepare a PRINTED poster according to the size and template requirement given below. Please present yourself to the poster display area at the Grand Ballroom Foyer.

Authors presenting posters are requested to observe the following requirements:

  • Authors should prepare their posters according to the official poster template and formatting requirements available on the ASCC 2026 website.
  • Poster dimensions should be A0 size, i.e., 84.1 cm (width) × 118.9 cm (height) in portrait orientation.
  • Posters should be visually clear, concise, and attractive.
  • Text, figures, and tables should be large enough to be read comfortably from a distance of approximately 1 meter.
  • Authors are expected to remain near their posters throughout the assigned poster session to present their work and engage in discussions with participants.
  • Authors who do not display their posters and/or are absent during their assigned poster session may be considered No Shows.
  • Materials for poster installation and on-site assistance will be provided by the organizing committee.
Please note that a Best Poster Award will be presented during the Closing Ceremony of the conference. All posters will be evaluated by the Award Committee during the poster sessions, so please ensure that your poster presentation is well prepared.

Session Chair/Co-Chair Guidelines

  • Please arrive at the session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins to check the presentation equipment and ensure everything is functioning properly.
  • The Chair/Co-Chair is responsible for introducing the speakers, keeping the session on schedule, and moderating the discussion following each presentation.
  • Each presentation is allocated 15 minutes in total, consisting of 12–13 minutes for the presentation and 2–3 minutes for questions and discussion.
  • All presentations must be delivered in person.
  • The Chair/Co-Chair will be provided with a reporting form to record any no-show presentations. If an author is absent, please use the available time for discussion rather than starting the next presentation early.
  • Please ensure that all presentations follow the published schedule. The session timetable is fixed and must not be rearranged, delayed, or adjusted. Adhering to the schedule is essential to allow participants to attend presentations across different sessions without conflicts.
